Cologne: A Destination Worth Visiting

The City of Cologne - Experience 2000 Years of History on the Rhine

Cologne, a Metropolis on the Rhine. Discover the cathedral city with its over 2000-year history, its impressive buildings, the World Heritage Site Cologne Cathedral, and fascinating museums. Stroll through the Old Town and immerse yourself in the Kölsch way of life!

Here are soneattractions you should not miss during your visit:

Cologne Cathedral: The cathedral is the landmark of Cologne. This Gothic church is among the largest cathedrals worldwide and impresses with its two large towers. We locals fondly refer to our cathedral as „dat Hätz“ (the heart) of the city and celebrate it in many Kölsch songs.

Old Town: The Cologne Old Town stretches along the Rhine and is characterized by a lively atmosphere. The narrow alleys with their historic, colorful houses invite you for a stroll. In the many breweries, you can enjoy Rhineland delicacies – and of course, a glass or two of Kölsch beer is a must. Cheers!

Hohenzollern Bridge: The Hohenzollern Bridge is a highlight for lovers. It’s adorned with thousands of love locks and offers a unique view over the city skyline.

Rhine River Promenade: The Rhine River Promenade is a beautiful place to walk along the Rhine or to take a boat tour.

Chocolate Museum: Here awaits a real chocolate paradise where you can learn everything about the production of this sweet temptation – and of course, taste it.

Wallraf-Richartz Museum: The „Wallraf,“ as we locals affectionately call it, houses an impressive collection of over 40,000 artworks from different eras, from Gothic to Modern. You can admire masterpieces by Rembrandt, van Gogh, and Monet.

Museum Ludwig: This world-famous museum exhibits modern artworks from the 20th century, including works by Picasso and Warhol.

Botanical Garden: The Botanical Garden is an oasis of tranquility in the city and a perfect place to admire rare plants or simply relax.

Cologne Zoo: A visit to the zoo, oh, oh, oh, oh… The Cologne Zoo is one of the oldest and most famous zoological parks in Germany, housing a wide variety of animals from around the world.

Rheinauhafen: The Rheinauhafen is a modern district on the Rhine River with restaurants, shops, and a marina. It is known for its architecturally spectacular Crane Houses that shape the skyline of Cologne.

Cable Car: Only flying is better. With the Cologne Cable Car, you can experience the cathedral city from above.

Note: We will be offering a range of activities for you and your companions. These can be booked separately through us, allowing you to select from a variety of attractions to enhance your experience.
